As typing was, at the time, a very popular course, Electra
saw the opportunity to create a program for computers,
whose purpose would be to teach users in the correct practice of typing
on hitherto modern keyboards, when compared to a
typewriter.
This was Electra’s first software project, and made its headquarters a
experimental school: the students attended the courses and, as
there was an improvement in new versions of the software, Electra
marketed to many other typing schools that were
founded with this main objective. Many cities in the state of São
Paul were taken care of.
In 1997, Electra had already developed some other projects when
innovated in the production methodology and managed to reach new
markets. In 2000, it was formally taken over by two sons of the
founder who have followed the company since its foundation. THE
mission, from this new milestone, is for the company to be recognized
by customers as providers of technology solutions capable of
help in the evolution of their companies.
